This Tegu Swivel Bug in cool blue and green shades is a fun introduction to the wonderful world of Tegu’s wooden magnetic blocks. Perfectly sized for small hands, this bug magnetic toy can be twisted and pulled to experience sensation of magnetic force. Tots will enjoy hearing the sound of the magnets clicking when the wings are put back together. It also has two beads threaded on tight elastics – spin each bead, pull and push to discover how tension works. The hard wood used by Tegu follows the same meticulous criteria applied for harvesting all their hard woods – ensuring the use of this wood does not contribute to endangerment to the trees or their inhabitants. Each Tegu set is manufactured in the independent toy factory in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Sustainability, social change and a love of play are key to Tegu. From hand selecting every single tree with local Honduran cooperatives, where a single tree can create over 1200 sets of blocks, to planting up to 10 trees for each set sold. Tegu only purchases wood from FSC certified companies and uses a water-based lacquer incorporated with colour pigments, so the blocks are all non-toxic.
