A great traditional toy for kids, the Mader Skipping Rope will be enjoyed by children who love being active outside. The wooden handles are painted in a vibrant design in graduated blue stripes with coloured ropes – rope colours will be picked at random.
Made from native European hardwood, hand turned on a lathe and carefully hand painted, these beautiful skipping ropes will be loved by children for active games outside. The coloured, braided rope is 2.4 m and is ideal for children up to 1.5m in height. Great for coordination and balance as well as concentration, these skipping ropes make lovely gifts. Mader Kreiselmanufaktur spinning tops, yo-yos and skipping ropes are beautifully crafted by hand with the greatest attention to detail. The spinning tops are rated by order of difficulty to spin – from 1 to 6, with 6 being the most challenging. Handcrafted in their workshop in Austria, each spinning tops undergoes up to 20 different processes, from turning, burning, carving and painting- all by hand. Each top is carved from a single piece of sustainably sourced native wood, and are recognisable from the ring burned around their equator, and the beautiful rainbow stripes. Loved by children and grown ups of all ages, you just can’t help but pick them up and give them a spin – be prepared to be mesmerised as they spin for minutes at a time.
