This super-sized Lanka Kade Deluxe Farm & Barn Set contains absolutely everything that a young farmer could ever wish for. Handcrafted in Sri Lanka from sustainable rubber wood, this natural wooden farm set includes a huge two-level barn and 35 accessories including a tractor, farmers, animals, hedges and fences. Children can access the barn from all four sides and the roof panels come off so they can reach inside, great for playing with siblings and friends.
This deluxe farm set includes one deluxe barn measuring 31cm x 30cm x 35.5cm and a tractor measuring 10cm x 14.6cm x 7.2cm. It also includes 20 animals (chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, goose, turkey, horses, sheep dog, pigs, cows and a cockerel), plus 2 gates, hedges, farmers and 1 tree and a large trough for feeding everyone. All of the farm figures and accessories are 2.5cm thick.
Young farmers will be delighted with this extra special, handmade wooden farm set. Left mostly unpainted, save for some brown detailing, the grain of the wood gives a rich character to the pieces. This eco farm is a timeless piece and will be enjoyed at home and is suitable for nurseries and play groups too. The animals are all from Lanka Kade’s natural wooden animals set and can be added to over the years. The solid wood construction is hard wearing, looks fantastic and will last for years. In fact, we think you’ll be keeping this one and passing it on to the next generation.
This traditional toy will promote children’s counting and communication skills – ask your child as they play what the animals are, discuss what the the animals like to eat and imitate the sounds they make. Placing the pieces will develop fine motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination.
The barn measures 31 x 32 x 36cm when assembled. Animals and people vary in size but are all 2.5cm thick. Ethically made with sustainably sourced rubber wood and partly decorated with non-toxic paint. Wipe clean only.
