It’s time to celebrate with this 24-hole birthday and advent spiral. It is comprised of eight multi-coloured pieces, each of which has three holes ready to be filled with decorative figures and candles – candle holders are required. This spiral measures 40cm in diameter and is made with FSC limewood and finished with non-toxic, water-based colour stain. Candles measuring 1.4cm in diameter will fit the candle holders required for this ring.

Slot in candles and colourful numbers, letters and characters into the holes that are relevant to the special event and can be used as a discussion point for your family. For each birthday, add a candle and a new personalised ornament and, as the years pass and the slots become filled with candles, move the ornaments into the centre. You needn’t hide your Grimm’s celebration ring away, only bringing it out for parties: these traditional decorations can also be used throughout the year as a centre piece on your dinner table. Twelve-hole rings can be used to mark each passing month, and seven-hole rings can be used to count down to the weekend.
