Get back to basics with this building block set, with large, solid wooden shapes that will encourage toddlers to build, balance and get creative. This bumper wooden block set has 30 chunky geometric shapes in a wooden frame that can be put together in an unlimited number of ways to challenge your child’s spatial awareness, develop their motor skills and stimulate their creativity. This wooden block set is fantastic on its own or can be combined with other block sets from Grimm’s.
The blocks are not varnished, ensuring they will not easily slip off one another when building imaginative constructions. Steiner educators will love this multi-purpose educational toy as it can be used for natural play in a myriad of ways – build houses and toppling towers, use to make patterns or as counting aids and for learning the names of different shapes, or even as ingredients in a play kitchen.
The wooden blocks come in a frame which is handy for storage and travelling with. They are ethically made from sustainably sourced lime wood and stained with water-based colour which allows the grain to show through. The frame measures 44.5cm x 44.5cm and each block is 4cm thick and between 4cm and 24cm in length.
This set is suitable from age 3+. WARNING: Not suitable for under 3 years of age due to small parts.
