This children’s pentatonic lyre is a beautiful musical string instrument that produces a clear, bright and calming sound. With seven strings it is an ideal introduction to playing a musical instrument for children, and with its short strings it can be tuned extremely high. This lyre is designed to be played in two different positions, thanks to its shell-like shape with large central opening – hold it resting in your lap with the left hand and played with the right, or it can be held in the lap resting between the knees and played with both hands, like a traditional harp.
