This Ambrosius Yellow Calendula Flower Fairy is a fair trade felted wool figure with black skin, delicately painted facial features, a long elegant yellow gown, short brown hair and a green cap. This flower fairy is holding a large yellow calendula flower with a green leaf – a perfect addition for decorating a nature display table in the spring and summer.
This fair trade decorative figure has been handmade from environmentally friendly wool felt, recycled paper and wire. Non-toxic textile paint has been used to add delicate facial features.

Ambrosius felted dolls are ethically made in Romania by skilled artisans, typically older women and young mothers working from home to support their families and people with disabilities. Profits from the sale of Ambrosius figures also help to fund a Waldorf school in Cluj-Napoca and education for disadvantaged children in rural Transylvania too. Ambrosius fairies are proudly made with love and patience, providing work to the lowest income families in the EU.
