This Walachia Watermill Construction Kit is a wooden craft kit for older children of a scaled model of a traditional Watermill. This plastic free hobby kit includes 196 precision cut pine and plywood pieces for children to build their own realistic 3D model traditional watermill. You will need PVA wood glue, scissors or a craft knife to complete this project (not included).
This traditional watermill wooden model has a waterwheel on one side and a lean-to. With clear step-by-step instructions, this Walachia Construction Kit contains all the wooden parts you need to create your own traditional style Watermill. Children will learn about architectural design, with gables, roofs and bases made of plywood, doors and windows, and square section 9 x 9mm wooden pine planks to build the walls. Paper prints are included to be applied to the roof for a realistic tiled appearance, and sandpaper for making minor adjustments. These make great craft projects for older children and for families to work on together and learn about the history and construction of folk architecture.
Model making is a fun hobby and great for developing patience, fine motor skills, precision and problem solving.
