A natural wooden beech Starter Wobbel board without felt backing for those who don’t have hard surface flooring. The Wobbel Starter Board is a smaller version of the classic Wobbel board that’s perfectly suited for those with a little less space or looking for a more portable Wobbel.
These Wobbel boards may be smaller than the classic Wobbels, but that doesn’t make them any less fun! They’re strong and durable, easily holding 100kg so they can be enjoyed by the smallest of children and will grow with your child as they find new ways to play.

What is a Wobbel Starter Board. The Wobbel Starter is similar to the standard Wobbel boards and the Wobbel Pro, except it’s smaller! A gentle curve in the board makes the starter board perfectly balanced and a slimmer waist and accented corners give the board superb stability when flipped over. The Wobbel Starter follows the traditional Waldorf arch board concept but redesigned to be robust and beautiful with a little extra engineering to make the Start Board more flexible so your child will never outgrow it. Ideally suited for all sorts of play, this Wobbel board is more than just a rocker and you’ll soon see your children finding new and creative ways to use them – crawling onto the board to rock gently, building bridges for their toys, creating steps and chairs or incorporating the board into wider play with building blocks and marble runes… the possibilities are endless and the lightweight, smaller design of these boards will give your child even more encouragement to play freely as they’ll be able to move the Wobbel Board from a smaller age.
Wobbel board construction. Layers of quality European FSC beech wood are pressed under high pressure to form the curve. The boards are made in Belgium and are extremely strong with a weight limit of 100Kg. The felt is made from recycled materials which mostly consists of PET bottles which is perfect for reducing noise and preventing scratches on hard floors. It’s also super durable and won’t peal making it ideal for intensive daily use. Everything is then finished in the Netherlands and the final result is a beautiful strong board made from completely natural, sustainable and recycled materials.

Minimum age recommendation is 0+ months and it is suitable for all ages above. Adults can enjoy these rocker boards too, building core muscle strength and balance skills.

Wobbel is CE certified to a weight limit of 100Kg which is over 15 and a half stone. It is designed for 1 child at a time to play with when rocking.
Always let children play under adult supervision and let them get used to the Wobbel. Help them when needed and make clear what can and can’t be done with it. Beware of fingers and toes at the edges. Teach your child from the first time to never hold the edges. Provide at least two meters of free space (also to other children) around the Wobbel and place it on a flat, horizontal surface. Make sure they don’t wear socks or smooth shoes, otherwise they might slip and they could fall. Barefoot or non-slip shoes prevent slipping.
Wobbel is designed for indoor play, it may be used out side but this will accelerate wear of the felt and wood.
