This wooden toy can be stacked in different formations and has different patterns on each side of the blocks. You can use it to teach children about the various symbolic meanings of Totem Poles and the importance of them to other cultures. The animal figures depicted on the blocks are not clearly defined which allows you and your child to change them and talk about the various animals carved into Totem Poles and their meanings.
